| “Michael O’Rourke, a GlobalScot and founder of USA based Scotia Vision Consultants, met with 14 Scottish Life Science companies during a recent trip to Glasgow, Scotland. “GlobalScot” is a Scottish Government initiative that networks global expatriate Scots with home based companies, offering business advice and connections in markets across the world.
Michael researched each company in advance, reviewed business plans, discussed and offered input to their strategies and provided direction for moving their businesses forward, including in some cases the potential to develop their technologies for the USA. Following a feedback survey conducted by the GlobalScot team at Scottish Enterprise (SE) on the quality of advice received from Michael, all companies were overwhelmingly positive and stated their expectations had either been met or exceeded. The GlobalScot team look forward to continuing their working relationship with Michael in his GlobalScot role advising Scottish Life Science organisations.” |
